Second Annual "Turn the Towns Teal"
Join the Alliance in raising awareness about ovarian cancer by participating in some or all of the events that are happening during the month of September.
Teal Ribbons
Boy Scouts from Pack 579 will be helping to raise awareness of ovarian cancer by hanging teal ribbons on trees, lamp posts, fences and more in their neighborhoods. Call Sandi at (414) 248-9631 if you would like to participate be displaying ribbons at your home or place of business.
Monday's in September
Join diner's at Baker's Square in Elm Grove, Greenfield, West Allis and Shorewood from 5PM to 8PM. 10% of all sales will be donated to WOCA! See BakersSquareRestaurants.com for location specifics.
September 4 - National Ovarian Cancer Awareness Day
Please draw attention to this disease by wearing teal and encouraging your friends and family to do the same.
September 12 - Nancy's Run Rock 'N Stroll

September 19 - Bowling and Sheepshead Tournament

Bowling............Starts at 12:00 PM Cost $30.00
Sheepshead Tournament...........Starting at 12:00 PM and ending at 3:00 PM Cost $15.00 per hour
Food will be served most of the day. When bowlers are finished, they can join the others for door prizes and raffle opportunities.

September 19 - Milwaukee Brewer's Game
WOCA throws out the first pitch at the Brewer's game - game time is 6:05PM
Tickets for the game are $28.00
Ticket and tailgate package is $50.00 per person
Festivities will begin at 3:30PM and last until 5:30PM in the River East Parking Lot which is accessible from Miller Parkway. Tailgate package consists of food from Saz's Catering and beverages (beer, soda and water).
Teal t-shirts are given to everyone who buys either the ticket or tailgate package. Seats will be located in section 232, which is the same place that we sat last year.
To pay by credit card, please go to the donations portion of the web site. After filling in the credit card information and amount, go to the message portion and indicate quantities, i.e. 2 tickets or 2 tailgate packages.

September 24 - Pendleton Woolen Mills
Join us at Pendelton Woolen Mills at Hilldale Shopping Center in Madison, WI for a unique fashion show and shopping experience. Times to be announced.
October 14 - 9th Annual Comedy for the Cure
9th Annual Comedy for the Cure held at ComedySportz 420 South 1st Street Milwaukee, WI (Details coming soon).
